Appointment of Stefano Ponta as head of the Neuchâtel office

Neuchâtel, 20 May 2021 - Mazars' aim in setting up in Neuchâtel in 2018 was to get closer to its clients and local businesses by offering them access to cutting-edge tax, accounting, advisory and auditing services. In order to continue its growth in the canton, Mazars has appointed Stefano Ponta to head the Neuchâtel office. He joins Mazars as a executive director and will be responsible for promoting Mazars' services in the Neuchâtel region.

Stefano Ponta has 28 years of professional experience in the financial sector, both as an advisor and in operational functions. He has been head of the Neuchâtel office of KPMG for ten years. He then held several CFO positions, the most important of which was at the family-owned Chocolats Camille Bloch in Courtelary. A certified auditor, Stefano has extensive experience in business consulting and is a member of several boards of directors both in the Canton of Neuchâtel and in French-speaking Switzerland.
