Mazars and Aunexis join forces
Zurich, 12 April 2019. Mazars, an international, integrated and independent audit and consulting firm specialising in audit, accountancy, tax, legal and advisory services is taking over Aunexis AG, which specialises in internal audit and consultancy for banks and financial service providers, with immediate effect. The merger will combine the strengths of both companies and provide clients with a broader range of services.
Strengthening the market position
Aunexis AG is an established provider of in internal audit and consultancy for banks and financial service providers. With offices in Bern, Zurich and Geneva, the company can draw on its many years of experience and currently serves more than 60 banks, securities dealers and other financial services providers.

Shared values
The two partners and the employees of Aunexis will be integrated into the Banking and Asset Management division, which now comprises more than 30 people. Kurt Stoll and Roland Wild, Managing Partner at Aunexis will join the Mazars Switzerland partnership.

Mazars with new office in Berne
With the takeover, Mazars seamlessly adds yet another chapter to its already impressive success story. The company has witnessed steady growth in recent years. Mazars boosted Swiss turnover by 24% in the 2017/2018 financial year. This was heightened by the continual expansion of new locations and the creation and development of new business sectors. "We now have an office in Berne. This is a strategically important step for strengthening our presence in German-speaking Switzerland," explains Caneda.
