Mazars in Switzerland obtains the EQUAL-SALARY certification

Geneva, 25 April 2024 - Mazars, the international audit, tax and advisory firm, is pleased to announce that it has obtained the EQUAL-SALARY certification in Switzerland issued by the EQUAL-SALARY Foundation. This EQUAL-SALARY certification guarantees equal pay and equal opportunities for all employees, regardless of gender, throughout their career, and confirms Mazars' commitment in Switzerland to offering the same opportunities to all.

The proportion of women in management positions has risen from 18% and 35%

The EQUAL-SALARY certification is an important and strategic step for Mazars in Switzerland and embodies the values that make up the company's DNA.

"Participating in the EQUAL-SALARY certification process was a natural step for us, as it is a fundamental issue of fairness. It also embodies our values which form the DNA of our business and guide us in everything we do, in the way we respond to our clients' needs, in the development of our employees and in the role we play in the society", comments José Caneda, CEO of Mazars in Switzerland. "It was also important for us to follow the EQUAL-SALARY certification process and to be certified, as we are partners of the EQUAL-SALARY Foundation and carry out certification audits at our clients' sites. We therefore have a duty to set an example, so that we can explain and advise the companies that place their trust in us by sharing our own experience", adds José Caneda.

Over the last two years, the representation of women in management positions at Mazars in Switzerland has increased from 18% to 35%.

The EQUAL-SALARY certification is valid for three years, during which time the company undergoes monitoring audits. After three years, the organisation needs to renew the certification process with a new salary analysis and a full on-site audit.
