Mazars mandated by Axpo for the sale of wind farms
2022 | Axpo sold its onshore wind farms in Spain and Italy, in order to keep their portfolio of wind and photovoltaic assets in line with their strategy.
Mazars provided exclusive M&A sell-side services to Axpo in relation to their sale of two onshore wind farms, (i) the wind farm in Bisaccia (Italy) – one of the country’s leading utilities – and (ii) La Peñuca (Spain) – one of the world’s largest privately-owned renewable energy companies. Axpo sold its 100% shareholding in the Bisaccia wind farm to Edison S.p.A. and its 46% minority stake in the La Peñuca site to Cubico.
