Appointment of four new Swiss partners in Mazars' international partnership

Geneva, 16 December 2020 – Mazars, the international tax, audit and advisory firm, announces the appointment of Michael Ackermann, Yves Gottofrey, Deborah Joye and Giuseppe Sottile as partners to strengthen the international partnership and support Mazars' growth in Switzerland.

With almost 20 years of experience in the fields of auditing and advisory, Michael Ackermann is a graduate of HEC Lausanne and a licensed expert auditor. Specialising in the audit of international companies and SMEs, his skills are equally at home in industry, watchmaking and the public sector. He is in charge of the “Audit & assurance” department at Mazars in the French-speaking part of Switzerland. 

As a licensed expert auditor and holder of a federal diploma in finance and accounting, Yves Gottofrey has almost 15 years of experience serving national and international clients. His specific areas of expertise include operational assistance to finance departments, outsourcing of bookkeeping and payroll, supervision and coordination of international mandates. He is in charge of the “Outsourcing” department at Mazars in the French-speaking part of Switzerland and is responsible for the Lausanne office. 

Deborah Joye, who holds a Master's degree in management from HEC Lausanne, has more than 15 years of experience in providing tax advice to private clients, entrepreneurs and SMEs. Her expertise particularly focuses on the transfer of family businesses, wealth management tax advice, relocation and international mobility. At Mazars in Switzerland, Deborah Joye is responsible for the "International Mobility" and "Private Clients" sectors. 

Giuseppe Sottile holds a master's degree in economics from HEC Lausanne and the federal diploma of tax expert. With 25 years of professional experience in all areas of taxation, he specialises in tax advice for international companies and SMEs. Giuseppe Sottile is head of the “Tax” department at Mazars in the French-speaking part of Switzerland.
