Our European benchmark shows a relatively robust performance from the banks in our sample for the first half of 2011, in despite the impact of the Greek crisis.
This general analysis is accompanied by a sound contribution from CIB activity, which overall presents a “level of activity comparable to 2006, a rather high benchmark”.
Finally, in their half-year accounts many banking groups have reported satisfactory progress in their medium and long-term financing programmes.
