An internship with Mazars
Are you thinking of a career in finance and audit? Would you like to get into the shoes of an auditor for a few months and become a part of our team on an exciting mandate?
With an internship at Mazars we offer you the chance to share our day-to-day business and to work on different engagements. You have the unique opportunity to get to know the leading businesses and the SMEs from diverse industries. When working on the engagement you will be exposed to the whole world of audit and accounting. You will get to know new business models and work in close contact with our clients. Our experienced auditors will lead you through this process and support you in every step. There are no stupid questions and no closed doors at Mazars.
Internships for Bachelor/Master Students
Mazars offers year-round internships at the length of three to six month or possibly longer with a strong emphasis on the busy seasons. In addition to the audit closing procedures you can be involved in a range of advisory or other projects depending on the current situation.
If you already know something about audit and want to implement your knowledge in practice or if you can't really picture the work of an auditor, send us your application documents and let us show you the Mazars Way.
The recruiting process consists of the three interviews with a Senior Auditor, Manager and a Partner. Shortly after the last interview we will let you know about our decision.
We are looking forward to your application for the Zurich, Geneva or Fribourg offices.
Tetiana Golynska, Intern
Tetiana is
currently studying Economics in the Master Programm at the University of Konstanz and spent an exchange semester at the University of Québec in Montréal. She has gathered her first practical experience in the United Nations and joined Mazars later to work in the Insurance Sector. “The young and dynamic Mazars team does not fit in the stereotype of the typical auditor. A very easy going but highly professional way of dealing with complicated financial and legal matters has impressed me the most. In a pleasant and open atmosphere I have learned the basics of audit and the insurance business, received my own projects and had a meeting with the client right on the first day of the engagement. Coming from an international background I enjoyed the opportunity to work in three languages, work for the leading multinational insurance companies and participate in some other interesting projects.
My internship at Mazars has taught me much more than I could ever learn at the university.”
