History
The history of Mazars in Switzerland was built around the following key dates:
1975: Mazars launches its first office in Switzerland in Geneva
1999: Revitag in Fribourg is acquired
2001: Mazars opens its Zurich office
2005: Mazars (Switzerland) AG merges with Coresa SA in Geneva and becomes Mazars Coresa
2009: The Audit Oversight Authority grants the license for audit services and FINMA the license to audit banking and insurance clients to Mazars Coresa
2010: After receiving the license to audit investment funds, Mazars Coresa is the sixth audit firm in Switzerland to obtain all licenses of FINMA
2011: Mazars opens an office in Lausanne to provide clients with an accounting and finance support service
